The Greek Society of Clinical Chemistry Clinical Biochemistry: A few words for our Scientific Society: The Greek Society of Clinical Chemistry-Clinical Biochemistry (GSCC-CB) represents all the scientists (clinical chemists, chemists, biochemists, biologists, medical doctors, etc.) who work in the field of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine. These scientists work: In the laboratory departments of Hospitals, mostly of Biochemistry but also Microbiology, Hormonology, Blood Banking, Hematology, Genetics and Molecular Biology, Immunology, Pathology, Nuclear medicine, etc., and also in the laboratory departments of nursing institutions and clinics, in Universities, in research centers and institutions, and in the private sector. The Greek Society of Clinical Chemistry Clinical Biochemistry was founded in 1989 and currently has more than 500 Full, Affiliate and Honorary members. The Greek Society of Clinical Chemistry Clinical Biochemistry is the Greek Scientific Society full member of the IFCC (International Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine) and the EFLM (European Federation of Clinical Chemistry & laboratory Medicine).
