
Mrs. Aikaterini Apostolaki
Aikaterini Apostolaki is a motivated young professional with a strong academic foundation in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, and Cosmetology. She recently completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Thessaly with a thesis on quorum sensing in Pseudomonas aeruginosa and is currently pursuing an MSc in Cosmetology–Dermatopharmacology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, focusing on VEGFA genetic polymorphisms in psoriasis.
She has presented her research at national and international conferences, including the 2nd Panhellenic Conference in Molecular Biopathology and the 33rd European Congress of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases.
Professionally, she gained hands-on experience as a Biomedical Laboratory Assistant during her internship at the General Hospital of Syros, working in biopathology, microbiology, and hematology. Since 2022, she has been co-owner of a cosmetics company in Greece, specializing in natural raw materials and medicinal plant–based products.
Her skills include molecular biology techniques (cell culture, DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, RT-PCR, electrophoresis, biofilm formation, data analysis), MS Office proficiency, and multilingual abilities (Greek – native, English – proficiency, German – B2).
